We live in an exciting time. Technology doesn’t just add to our lifestyle, it is an integral part. While you are reading this article there is a good chance you have multiple devices in front of you. How often are you reading something on your phone, while glancing over to your TV, or computer and nowadays you can check your smart watch, just in case you aren’t connected enough.

An exciting example of creative strategy and the latest technology was the recent Porsche campaign run in Melbourne by oOh! Media. The billboard outside Melbourne Airport used cameras to detect a Porsche approaching and automatically changed the message to “It’s so easy to pick you out of the crowd”. This campaign was creative and exciting for all involved. The driver of the Porsche feels special, driving home brand loyalty. Other commuters witness the special treatment of a Porsche owner which further perpetuates the premium branding of the car manufacturer while millions around the country spent weeks talking about the campaign. Unless you are dealing with an essential item or service, you need to provide motivation to purchase your product. Or better yet find and engage with those already motivated.
